We depart from the port area, where, after completing the access procedures to the National Park, we embark on a journey that will take us across the waters of Lake Nahuel Huapi for about 50 minutes, reaching the heart of the forest.
The Arrayanes Forest represents the ultimate expression of the beauty of the Andean forests and is located at the end of the Quetrihué Peninsula. This peninsula starts at the port of the village and extends 12 kilometers into Lake Nahuel Huapi, shaping the Arrayanes National Park. Although the myrtle tree is relatively common in the National Park, there is a true community of specimens here, some of which are over 650 years old. However, the most remarkable aspect of this forest is the sensation of walking silently through it, enjoying the contrasts of light and the unique harmony of its shapes and colors.
